This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Set up, maintain, and improve Workday functionality across Benefits, Compensation, Reporting, Integrations, and various HCM domains.
• Manage and configure Workday business processes, organizations, condition rules, validations, notifications, eligibility criteria, and security measures.
• Collect and document requirements, translating business necessities into effective Workday solutions.
• Evaluate requests and provide recommendations that align with Workday capabilities and organizational standards.
• Analyze configurations and processes for opportunities in optimization, automation, simplification, and enhanced user experiences.
• Resolve complex issues related to configuration, business processes, security, integrations, and data; conduct root-cause analysis.
• Assess the cross-functional and downstream impacts of changes made.
• Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, test, and enhance Workday integrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and third-party providers to address system and data issues.
• Support enhancements throughout the entire lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, and production deployment.
• Create and execute unit, regression, and user acceptance testing plans.
• Engage in Workday release reviews and propose opportunities for adoption and optimization.
• Operate within a defined three-week sprint cycle.
• Keep documentation updated for requirements, configurations, testing, processes, and changes.
• Act as a senior Workday resource and a trusted advisor.
• Assist with Workday reporting, including generating reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and related functionalities.
• Work collaboratively with HRIS and cross-functional partners to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with Workday in roles such as HRIS, Workday Analyst, Workday Consultant, or similar positions.
• Proven experience in configuring and supporting Workday Benefits, Compensation, and VNDLY.
• Experience in supporting Workday integrations utilizing EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services/APIs, Workday Studio, or comparable technologies.
• Familiarity with Workday reporting, including Advanced or Matrix reports, calculated fields, dashboards, Discovery Boards, or similar functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, business processes, and core HR functionalities.
• Experience with configuring business processes, condition rules, validations, notifications, eligibility rules, and organizations.
• Capability to troubleshoot complex Workday configuration, business processes, integration, security, and data issues.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and converting them into Workday solutions.
• Proven track record of supporting system enhancements, testing, releases, and production deployments.
• Ability to evaluate impacts of system and configuration changes across functional areas and downstream processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to independently investigate issues, identify root causes, assess alternatives, and suggest solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
• A Bachelor's degree in technology/HRIS or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
