Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage revenue recognition procedures in compliance with ASC 606 and company guidelines

• Execute monthly revenue closing tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Assess customer contracts to ensure appropriate revenue recognition treatment

• Evaluate customer contracts for precise billing and revenue reporting

• Analyze deferred revenue and confirm accurate accounting practices

• Aid in financial audits by preparing necessary schedules and supplying documentation

• Continuously enhance revenue processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of revenue accounting systems

• Ensure adherence to internal controls

• Review and record revenue at the conclusion of each month

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine revenue processes

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP / ASC 606

• Strong analytical capabilities

• Proven experience managing revenue recognition processes

• Familiarity with monthly revenue close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Demonstrated experience in reviewing customer contracts related to revenue recognition, billing, and reporting

• Proficient in analyzing deferred revenue

• Experience in supporting financial audits

• Background with revenue accounting systems

• Understanding of internal control systems
