Senior Retirement Benefits Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the administration, analysis, and ongoing management of retirement benefit programs throughout North America.

• Evaluate and interpret intricate retirement plan data, encompassing participation, contributions, funding, and performance metrics.

• Provide support for both defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) retirement plans.

• Collaborate with external retirement plan administrators, consultants, actuaries, recordkeepers, and various vendors.

• Examine plan data and reports for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and facilitate the resolution of issues.

• Aid in plan audits, compliance initiatives, regulatory obligations, and necessary filings.

• Assess retirement benefit costs and trends, delivering valuable insights to Benefits leadership.

• Generate reports, presentations, and analytical documents for leadership and internal stakeholders.

• Assist with plan modifications, enhancements, and the implementation of new retirement programs or processes.

• Discover opportunities to enhance retirement benefits processes, ensure data integrity, improve reporting, and increase overall program effectiveness.

• Work in collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.

• Stay updated on retirement benefits regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends.

• Offer analytical support for special projects and other strategic benefits initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of substantial experience with defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans.

• Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia.

• Willingness to travel to the US corporate office 2-3 times annually.

• Highly analytical with a comfort level in handling large and complex datasets.

• Strong knowledge of retirement plan administration, processes, and terminology.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and data analysis techniques.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to spot inconsistencies or potential issues in data.

• Ability to convey complex benefits information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience working with retirement plan vendors, consultants, and third-party administrators.
