Senior Resource Planning Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the allocation of resources across clinical trials and research initiatives.

• Coordinate resource planning activities, which include the distribution of personnel, equipment, and other assets across various clinical projects.

• Work collaboratively with project managers and department heads to evaluate resource requirements, anticipate demand, and ensure optimal utilization.

• Create and sustain resource planning tools and systems to monitor availability, usage, and future requirements.

• Recognize resource bottlenecks, shortcomings, or inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve resource allocation.

• Deliver reports and strategic insights to leadership regarding resource trends, usage, and forecasts.

• Mentor peers and guide others in site resourcing and workforce planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in resource planning, project management, or operations, ideally within the clinical research or healthcare field.

• Willingness to work shifts (8 AM to 5 PM IST) to facilitate communication with counterparts located in East Asian countries such as Japan.

• Proficiency in resource management software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while adapting to evolving resource requirements in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
