Senior Residential QA, QC Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site and virtual quality assurance inspections for HVAC and weatherization projects; create and implement QA protocols.

• Act as a technical subject matter expert for clients, contractors, and community-based organizations, including reviews of scope, bids, and installations.

• Execute home energy assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as blower doors, duct blasters, and flow plates, leveraging strong knowledge of building science and residential energy efficiency.

• Monitor, analyze, and report QA outcomes using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and quality documentation.

• Handle and de-escalate complex situations involving customers and contractors with professionalism, effective communication, and a client-centric approach.

• Coordinate inspections directly with clients and manage a variable weekly caseload of assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 5 years of experience in residential trades and/or energy efficiency programs, with hands-on experience inspecting HVAC and/or weatherization measures.

• Experience in both areas is a significant advantage but not mandatory.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, travel regionally as required, and maintain relevant certifications (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
