This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct automated testing frameworks

• Implement advanced continuous integration processes in Azure DevOps

• Conduct tests in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Establish and execute a testing strategy aligned with the testing pyramid

• Carry out UI, API, unit, contract, and performance testing

• Utilize GitHub for version control of code

• Detect bottlenecks through fundamental performance and load testing

• Perform shift-left testing during the early phases of the development lifecycle

• Seamlessly integrate testing activities with the development team

• Oversee dashboards, logs, and alerts to pinpoint asynchronous failures

• Facilitate code reviews, establish standards, and foster the technical advancement of the team

• Determine the appropriateness of automating tests versus manual execution, considering maintenance implications

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in test automation architecture, including the construction and development of testing frameworks

• Experience with sophisticated continuous integration and orchestration within Azure DevOps

• Familiarity with testing in containerized environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes

• Understanding of testing strategies and the application of the testing pyramid, ensuring a balance between UI, API, unit, contract, and performance testing

• Experience with code version control through GitHub

• Basic understanding of performance and load testing using tools like k6, JMeter, or Gatling

• Experience in implementing shift-left automation and continuous integration with development teams

• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluating dashboards, logs, and alerts for identifying asynchronous failures

• Proven experience in providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, setting standards, and supporting team development

• Capability to make informed decisions regarding the automation of tests versus manual testing and evaluate maintenance trade-offs
