Senior Research Scientist, Executive Engagement & Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee research projects from inception to completion: formulate questions, design measurements, conduct analyses, and document results.

• Develop key research reports and collaborative studies.

• Integrate Syndio pay-decision data with external labor-market, survey, and benchmarking information.

• Create scalable research methodologies.

• Develop outcome and ROI models that link pay governance to attrition, costs, risks, and performance metrics.

• Engage in executive discussions at strategic accounts and interpret findings for CHROs and CFOs.

• Gather customer inquiries to inform future research initiatives.

• Collaborate with product and data science teams to embed research into features, benchmarks, and reporting tools.

• Co-author reports, articles, and executive briefings with verifiable external claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD or equivalent expertise in industrial-organizational psychology, behavioral or decision science, labor economics, statistics, or a related discipline.

• Proven history of translating applied research into impactful results, extending beyond mere publication records.

• Proficient quantitative abilities: including causal and quasi-experimental methods, psychometrics, and survey design.

• Working knowledge of Python or R and SQL, adept at handling large, complex, real-world datasets.

• Comfortable presenting findings to senior-level clients, including CHROs and CFOs.

• Capable of navigating data warehouses and engaging in high-level discussions.

• Sound judgment to adhere to strict data use and privacy regulations.
