Senior Reliability Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee reliability and maintenance performance across various facilities.

• Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies, including predictive and preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and asset health optimization.

• Leverage data and performance metrics to enhance equipment uptime, reliability, efficiency, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

• Direct and nurture engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.

• Build capabilities, address skill gaps, and promote accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Act as a technical resource for critical equipment and system challenges.

• Address major outages, eliminate recurring failures, and implement effective corrective actions.

• Identify system-wide opportunities to enhance processes, minimize waste, and optimize costs.

• Standardize best practices across different facilities.

• Collaborate with Operations, Food Safety, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams.

• Ensure that engineering and maintenance systems comply with regulatory and company standards.

• Offer leadership, coaching, and guidance to regional reliability resources and site maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams.

• May oversee regional technical personnel directly and indirectly influence teams across multiple facilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or manufacturing leadership, or a comparable combination of education and experience, is required.

• Proven experience in leading maintenance and reliability programs across multiple manufacturing sites.

• Familiarity with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and preventive/predictive maintenance methodologies.

• Experience using SAP PM or similar CMMS systems to enhance maintenance effectiveness.

• Skilled in engineering economics.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Willingness to travel to various locations.

• Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques relevant to food processing and the meat industry.

• Proficient in SAP and CMMS.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong project management abilities to support cross-functional team initiatives.

• Capable of being respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while fostering strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

• Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.

• Able to sit for extended periods.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.

• Able to travel as necessary.
