This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a portfolio of mid-sized, intricate retirement plans, generally consisting of 20 to 30 plans, while ensuring long-term retention and profitability.
• Foster and enhance relationships with plan sponsors, advisors, and internal stakeholders to promote business growth.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, and industry developments.
• Conduct regular plan reviews, participant education planning, and updates on regulatory matters.
• Represent the participant communications strategy in annual client plans.
• Collaborate with sales teams to strengthen advisor relationships, generate new business, and expand existing accounts.
• Work alongside client service teams to create and implement business planning deliverables.
• Engage in final presentations for new business and conduct site visits.
• Identify and execute solutions that improve client satisfaction and uphold financial viability.
• Act as the primary escalation contact for complex client issues.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams to provide customized client solutions.
• Navigate organizational governance frameworks to advocate for client requirements and business goals.
• Keep abreast of market trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
• Present to clients on industry insights, plan performance, and legislative updates.
• Manage client P&L, balancing revenue growth with operational efficiency.
• Lead contract renewals, negotiations, and pricing strategies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance plan efficiency and maximize revenue potential.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in financial services, including the cultivation of strategic relationships.
• FINRA 6 and 63 registration required within corporate-designated timelines.
• FINRA fingerprinting is mandatory.
• Life Insurance License is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships in financial services, retirement plans, or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of plan design, investment management, and fiduciary governance.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate organizational structures and influence decision-making processes.
• Strong business acumen, encompassing financial and risk management expertise.
• Willingness to travel 5-20% as required based on territory and client portfolio.
• Regular use of standard office equipment is expected.
• Capability to travel by air and ground, carry business materials, and hold extended client meetings.
• Ability to sit, stand, and move for prolonged periods.
• Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace is necessary for remote work.
