This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic relationship leader for designated associations, ensuring alignment of organizational goals, needs, and growth opportunities with AMBA’s capabilities, resources, products, marketing, and distribution channels.
• Manage, enhance, and broaden existing association relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Propel new association partnership development across the United States through prospecting, relationship cultivation, discovery meetings, strategic presentations, board presentations, proposal creation, and execution of partnership agreements.
• Broaden AMBA’s marketing and distribution outreach through associations and eligible member populations.
• Create and deliver strategic partnership presentations focusing on membership growth, retention, engagement, benefit access, marketing, non-dues revenue, and organizational growth.
• Expand and diversify the products and services available through association partnerships.
• Utilize direct mail, digital marketing, email, social media, web pages, call center, field distribution, events, and various other channels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Distribution, Carrier Relations, Operations, Membership, Technology, and other teams.
• Provide strategic support to association partners that exceeds traditional benefit programs.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects, expansion opportunities, new products, and marketing initiatives.
• Assist in developing workflows, processes, reporting, and best practices to enhance partnership effectiveness and scalability.
• Represent AMBA at association conferences, board meetings, industry events, prospect meetings, and other opportunities for relationship building.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; a combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, association management, account management, consultative sales, or client relations.
• Proven success in growing complex client relationships and generating new business opportunities, including experience with executives, boards, and senior decision-makers.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate organizational needs into partnership, marketing, product, and growth opportunities.
• Executive presence complemented by excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated capability to independently manage a portfolio of relationships and new business opportunities while prioritizing multiple initiatives and delivering measurable results.
• Experience in the association, employee benefits, insurance, membership, affinity marketing, or financial services sectors is preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationally as required.
• 30–40% air travel required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
