Senior Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with the executive management and administrative personnel of plan sponsors.

• Oversee Annual Plan Reviews, covering Plan Summary, Legislative Updates, Fund and Investment Overview, as well as Communication and Education history and opportunities.

• Play a key role in finalist presentations for regional clients.

• Facilitate plan setup and manage ongoing plan administration.

• Offer pension-related technical advice and consultation to both internal and external clients.

• Collaborate with Marketing Communications to tailor and coordinate participant communications.

• Utilize modeling and statistics to uncover solutions that promote favorable client outcomes.

• Stay informed about current and emerging trends in the retirement sector.

• Enhance client satisfaction and provide client references to support business development.

• Anticipate and address the needs of external customers and potential issues.

• Ensure that Corebridge meets its service and performance commitments.

• Provide thought leadership to both clients and the organization.

• Represent the department in organizational projects and strategic initiatives.

• Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of special projects.

• Annually develop institutional client case studies and gather client references.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in benefits design, compliance, and implementation is preferred.

• Experience in pensions is preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ERISA and subsequent legislation governing qualified pension plan types.

• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer retention.

• Capability to consistently meet and exceed the goals of Plan Sponsors and Participants.

• Ability to independently manage multiple institutional client relationships.

• Proficiency in engaging with client organizations, particularly top management.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

• FINRA SIE, Series 6, and 63 certifications are required.

• Relevant designations such as CEBS or ASPA are preferred.
