Senior Relationship Manager, Agriculture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, oversee, and enhance a portfolio of clients as their main strategic contact.

• Establish and nurture long-term connections with key clients.

• Comprehend clients’ business goals and offer customized financial solutions.

• Structure and negotiate intricate credit transactions with specialized teams.

• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver an exceptional client experience and integrated solutions.

• Represent BMO within the business community through events, conferences, and market development activities.

• Contribute to the growth and profitability of the portfolio while ensuring effective risk management practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in relationship management, account management, or portfolio management in commercial banking or a similar field.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agronomy, or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of financial analysis, commercial lending, and risk management.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate enduring business relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, and a strong focus on client needs.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of the agriculture and agri-food sector is a plus.

• Proficient in both French and English.
