Senior Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assist both new and existing patients throughout the onboarding, treatment, follow-up, and renewal processes.

• Offer evidence-based education regarding treatments, medication administration, anticipated effects, side-effect management, and guidance on when to seek additional care.

• Evaluate clinical questionnaires and address patient inquiries.

• Determine treatment appropriateness and contraindications, and pinpoint issues that require practitioner review.

• Perform remote nursing assessments, symptom triage, and risk screening within the Registered Nurse's scope of practice.

• Oversee patient queues, tasks, and follow-ups in alignment with clinical priorities and service standards.

• Assist with daily RN allocation and workforce planning.

• Analyze clinical activities, incidents, and operational data to uncover risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

• Contribute to RN reporting, dashboards, and workforce forecasting efforts.

• Share findings with the Lead RN and VP of Clinical Operations.

• Enhance RN questionnaire pathways by assessing completion and conversion data.

• Review and revise RN policies and clinical guidelines in collaboration with Clinical Governance.

• Engage in incident management, audits, and quality enhancement initiatives.

• Collaborate with practitioners, pharmacies, allied health professionals, and internal teams to ensure coordinated care.

• Elevate clinical, operational, and patient-safety risks as necessary.

• Lead or provide support for assigned clinical and operational projects.

• Offer guidance and support to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current, unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• A minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience.

• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to identify risks, make informed decisions, and escalate when necessary.

• Confidence in working independently.

• Flexibility to shift between clinical, operational, reporting, and project priorities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Empathetic and professional demeanor in patient care and colleague support.

• Proficient in utilizing digital systems and interpreting data.

• Proactive and accountable in approach.

• Commitment to confidentiality, continuous learning, and improvement.

• Genuine interest in telehealth as well as men’s and women’s health.

• Recent experience in primary healthcare, especially in areas such as weight management, hair loss, sexual health, skincare, or mental health (highly regarded).

• Experience in telehealth or digital health, including asynchronous care models (highly regarded).

• Background in reviewing clinical questionnaires for treatment suitability, contraindications, and escalation needs (highly regarded).

• Prior experience in senior nursing roles, higher duties, clinical coordination, or team leadership (highly regarded).

• Involvement in projects, clinical governance, process improvements, or quality initiatives, particularly within health technology (highly regarded).
