This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide support and engage within the Orlando, Florida area for Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics division.
• Create and implement strategic business plans for the territory to enhance the adoption and use of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products, such as OncoExTra, OncoDetect (MRD), and RiskGuard.
• Achieve sales targets consistently.
• Establish and nurture relationships with oncologists, pathologists, key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize clinical knowledge and a consultative sales approach.
• Collaborate with managed care, reimbursement teams, patient advocacy groups, and providers to facilitate patient access and overcome testing obstacles.
• Assess territory dynamics, competitive landscape, and clinical trends to pinpoint growth opportunities and modify sales tactics accordingly.
• Supply market intelligence and customer insights to regional and national leadership.
• Work cross-functionally to achieve business goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Travel 75% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related discipline, or 4 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• Over 5 years of sales experience promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics or similar intricate healthcare products.
• At least 3 years of medical sales experience in specialized areas including Buy & Bill, Medical Device, or highly clinical fields such as urology, cardiology, or GI.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience selling in a fiercely competitive environment.
• Proven clinical and scientific knowledge.
• Strong skills in territory or account management.
• In-depth understanding of competitors and market trends affecting product usage.
• Valid driver's license with no suspended, revoked, surrendered, or invalid status.
• No more than two moving violations, incidents, or accidents in the past 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related incidents involving vehicle operation in the last 36 months.
• No other unacceptable liability outcomes from the Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: Clinical experience.
• Preferred: Over 1 year of oncology experience selling chemo/immunotherapy or oncology diagnostics.
• Preferred: Strong connections within oncology accounts in the territory.
• Preferred: Experience selling to surgeons and cancer centers.
• Preferred: Familiarity with NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease, comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, and/or hereditary cancer.
