This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive sales expansion within the designated Orlando, Florida region.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products, which include OncoExTra, OncoDetect (MRD), and RiskGuard.
• Establish and enhance relationships with oncologists, pathologists, key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Advocate for the adoption and use of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products by leveraging clinical expertise and consultative sales techniques.
• Collaborate with managed care, reimbursement teams, patient advocacy organizations, and providers to enhance patient access and mitigate testing barriers.
• Assess territory dynamics, competitive landscape, and clinical trends to identify growth prospects and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
• Deliver market intelligence and customer insights to regional and national leadership teams.
• Work cross-functionally to achieve business goals and provide top-tier customer service.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Over 5 years of sales experience promoting or selling complex products in medical oncology, diagnostics, or similar healthcare sectors.
• At least 3 years of medical sales experience in specialized areas such as Buy & Bill, Medical Device, or highly clinical fields like urology, cardiology, or GI.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a highly competitive sales environment.
• Proven clinical and scientific acumen.
• Strong skills in territory or account management.
• Deep understanding of competitors and market trends affecting product utilization.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the past 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related vehicle incidents in the last 36 months.
• No unacceptable liability outcomes from the Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Capability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: clinical experience.
• Preferred: 1+ years of oncology experience selling chemo/immunotherapy or oncology diagnostics.
• Preferred: established relationships within oncology accounts in the territory.
• Preferred: experience selling to surgeons and cancer centers.
• Preferred: background in NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease, comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, and/or hereditary cancer.
