This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Lead and expand a network of Channel Partners.
β’ Provide sales expertise and resources aimed at supporting Channel Partner growth and surpassing target sales volume goals.
β’ Develop and enhance product and application knowledge for Channel Partners, A&E Firms, GC/ECs, and End User customers.
β’ Manage strategic partner relationships, spearhead sales initiatives, and cultivate new business opportunities throughout Canada.
β’ Meet or exceed designated sales targets through Channel Partners, National Accounts, Corporate Accounts, and OEM Partners.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with strategic prospects to build a robust sales pipeline.
β’ Coordinate territory business development efforts in alignment with company strategy.
β’ Analyze bidding opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and maintain customer relationships to secure projects.
β’ Identify potential clients, evaluate needs, present customized solutions, and grow the client base.
β’ Conduct product presentations and workshops, educate prospects, address concerns, and build long-lasting relationships.
β’ Maintain a personal sales pipeline and actively seek new opportunities.
β’ Develop and execute an annual district sales plan.
β’ Support Channel Partner sales teams in reaching and exceeding sales volume goals.
β’ Assist Channel Partners in crafting and implementing business plans.
β’ Lead high-level discussions with Channel Partners and End Users to resolve challenges and negotiate business terms.
β’ Oversee the growth of assigned Channel Partners.
β’ Manage National Account and internal lead assignments, ensuring alignment with suitable Channel Partners.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in selling fire detection equipment or similar safety, security, or life safety systems through a distribution channel within a defined territory.
β’ Bilingual in English and French β HIGHLY PREFERRED.
β’ Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficient in basic computer applications.
β’ Familiarity with online CRMs for data management, sales tracking, and forecasting.
β’ Extensive knowledge of fire safety products, codes, and application usage.
β’ More than 5 years of experience in building and managing distributor networks.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills.
β’ Technically skilled with strong presentation capabilities.
β’ Ability to operate from a virtual/home office environment.
β’ Ability to work from a virtual/home office environment.
β’ Bilingual in English and French β HIGHLY PREFERRED.
