Senior Quotations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a significant volume of Requests for Quotation (RFQs)

• Prepare, evaluate, and distribute quotations for various opportunities including projects, builders, stock, multi-family, and hospitality sectors

• Assess pricing requests in relation to company pricing strategies and profit objectives

• Conduct profit and loss (P&L) analysis for builder opportunities, contract renewals, and strategic bids

• Review, revise, extend, and sustain existing quotations

• Address inquiries regarding quote status, usage, and performance from both internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Management, Demand Planning, and other cross-functional teams to provide pricing solutions

• Maintain quotation documentation and pricing records in SAP and other business systems

• Identify opportunities for enhancing quotation processes, reporting, and operational efficiency

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related area; equivalent experience may be accepted

• At least three (3) years of experience in quotation, pricing, sales operations, or related analytics

• Strong understanding of business and financial concepts

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Outstanding attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities

• Ability to work collaboratively across various departments

• Customer-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and business requirements

• Must reside in the United States

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer; employment visa sponsorship is not available

• Preferred: MBA or advanced business degree

• Preferred: Experience in the lighting or electrical industries

• Preferred: Familiarity with SAP ERP systems

• Preferred: Background in pricing or financial analysis

• Preferred: Experience in supporting builder, project, or contract quotations
