Senior Quality Engineer – Test Automation, Release Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance automated testing coverage for both web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to embed quality assurance measures into the development lifecycle.

• Spearhead root-cause analysis when production issues arise and facilitate cross-team coordination to resolve them effectively.

• Enhance the testing infrastructure for the CI/CD pipeline.

• Mentor engineers on improving test writing and proactively considering edge cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in QA/QE, including the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

• Proven experience in testing both web and mobile applications in live environments.

• Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of automated testing within them.

• Experience in a marketplace, two-sided platform, or similarly dynamic startup setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for cross-functional collaboration among engineering, product, and support teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant practical experience.
