This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the testing strategy and quality planning for new features, platform upgrades, and product releases.
• Create thorough testing methodologies that cover functional, integration, regression, API, accessibility, negative, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing coverage across web, API, and workflow scenarios.
• Conduct hands-on testing for complex, high-risk, cross-functional projects.
• Establish and uphold quality gates and criteria for release readiness.
• Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, retesting, and validation processes.
• Analyze automation and regression outcomes, identify trends, and enhance reliability and coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, DevOps, Security, and Operations teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Utilize metrics, production insights, telemetry, and defect trends to perpetually enhance quality practices.
• Guide and mentor quality engineers in automation design, testing strategy, accessibility validation, and release readiness.
• Recognize quality risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.
• Proven experience leading quality initiatives for complex web-based, cloud-hosted, or customer-facing applications.
• In-depth knowledge of testing strategies, defect management, regression planning, and release validation.
• Proven track record of providing technical guidance and mentoring within Agile engineering teams.
• Strong grasp of automation-first testing principles and best practices in quality engineering.
• Preferred: Experience with Selenium, WebDriver, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.
• Preferred: Familiarity with BDD testing frameworks, such as Gauge or comparable tools.
• Preferred: Experience testing user interfaces, APIs, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Java, C#, REST APIs, and contemporary CI/CD practices.
• Preferred: Proficient SQL and database validation skills.
• Preferred: Experience in investigating production issues using logs, telemetry, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
• Preferred: Experience in validating accessibility standards and assessing user experience quality.
• Preferred: Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-based applications, and scalable architectures.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams, offshore partners, or vendor-supported delivery models.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing AI-assisted development and testing tools responsibly, including validating AI-generated outputs.
