Senior QA Engineer – AI-Driven Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the quality strategy for Flutter applications and the testing architecture across mobile product teams.

• Establish the test strategy, oversee execution, and manage production monitoring from a platform perspective.

• Collaborate with cross-functional mobile product teams to refine quality practices and address testing gaps.

• Empower product teams to take full ownership of product quality end-to-end and deliver with confidence.

• Develop and sustain the automated Appium/BrowserStack test suite.

• Ensure that automated tests remain fast, stable, reliable, and centered on critical user journeys.

• Maintain a robust test infrastructure by reducing flakiness and speeding up test execution.

• Deliver actionable test outcomes for the engineering organization.

• Innovate and scale autonomous exploration, intelligent test orchestration, and self-directed testing workflows.

• Identify product risks before they impact users.

• Integrate quality assurance earlier in the process by embedding quality into the product and its development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in formulating scalable testing strategies.

• Practical expertise with Appium.

• Hands-on experience with Flutter integration testing.

• Familiarity with cloud device farms, particularly BrowserStack.

• Active experience utilizing AI tools, LLM workflows, and testing agents.

• Knowledge of autonomous exploration, automated test generation, and defect analysis.

• Proven success in integrating test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency with GitHub Actions.

• Strong emphasis on real-world user journeys, edge cases, and assessing product risk.

• High initiative and problem-solving capabilities in uncertain scenarios.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Proficiency in German is a plus.

• Experience in energy systems, IoT, or climate technology is advantageous.

• Knowledge of native iOS/Android or deep Flutter/Dart architecture is a plus.

• Experience in building testing tools from the ground up is a bonus.
