Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take charge of quality assurance tasks across various projects, ensuring the software adheres to the highest quality and reliability standards.

• Engage actively in design and requirements reviews to confirm the testability and usability of features and products.

• Lead testing initiatives, which include developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.

• Plan, implement, and execute testing activities across different product domains - DB, integration, functional, UI/UX.

• Analyze test outcomes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and suggest necessary process modifications.

• Offer technical guidance and process mentorship to junior colleagues.

• Collaborate within compact, autonomous teams that operate with short release cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in automation testing.

• Strong grasp of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Proficient programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java).

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG).

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

• Solid understanding of RDBMS.

• Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent command of English with outstanding communication skills.

• A genuine passion for quality assurance.

• Experience in testing microservices and distributed systems.

• Background in testing mobile applications.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Experience with Event Stream Processing platforms.
