Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of quality assurance responsibilities across various projects, ensuring that the software adheres to the highest quality and reliability standards.

• Engage actively in design and requirements evaluations to guarantee the testability and usability of features and products.

• Spearhead testing initiatives, which include the development and maintenance of automation frameworks and scripts.

• Strategize, execute, and implement testing tasks across different product domains - including database, integration, functional, and UI/UX.

• Assess test outcomes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and suggest necessary process modifications.

• Offer technical and procedural guidance to junior team members.

• Collaborate within small, self-sufficient teams that operate with short release cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, emphasizing automation testing.

• Profound knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Strong coding abilities in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.).

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG, etc.).

• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar solutions.

• Solid understanding of relational database management systems.

• Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• High proficiency in English and outstanding communication skills.
