Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of quality assurance responsibilities across various projects, guaranteeing that the software adheres to the highest standards of quality and dependability.

• Engage in design and requirements evaluations to ensure the testability and usability of features and products.

• Spearhead testing initiatives, which include developing and sustaining automation frameworks and scripts.

• Strategize, implement, and execute testing activities in database, integration, functional, and UI/UX product domains.

• Examine test results to pinpoint areas for enhancement and suggest process improvements.

• Offer technical and process guidance to less experienced team members.

• Collaborate within small, self-sufficient teams that operate with short release cycles and agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, concentrating on automation testing.

• Profound understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Strong programming capabilities in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.).

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG, etc.).

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar platforms.

• Solid knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS).

• Understanding of agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient command of English and outstanding communication skills.

• A strong passion for quality assurance.

• Experience in testing microservices and distributed systems.

• Background in mobile application testing.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Experience with Event Stream Processing platforms.
