Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing suites for API and UI layers.

• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define and implement effective testing solutions.

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enhance efficiency and speed up delivery.

• Contribute to load, stress, and endurance testing initiatives to validate system performance and scalability.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with engineering teams on remediation strategies.

• Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and generate actionable defect reports.

• Validate software against established requirements and uphold high quality standards.

• Conduct manual testing when automation is not feasible.

• Advocate for consistent testing practices across distributed development teams.

• Suggest enhancements to automation, testing processes, and overall quality practices.

• Mentor team members on automation development, design patterns, testing strategies, and best practices.

• Provide technical guidance in building maintainable, scalable, and reusable test frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing API and UI test automation solutions.

• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, etc.).

• Experience contributing to load/performance testing initiatives (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling).

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.

• Solid understanding of web and browser technologies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline (preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering).

• More than 5 years of experience in mobile application testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing (bonus).

• Comprehensive understanding of mobile application technologies, including iOS and Android operating systems (bonus).

• Proficient with Selenium-based mobile testing automation frameworks such as Selendroid and Appium (bonus).
