Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee quality initiatives throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Establish business and functional requirements while assessing end-to-end system performance.

• Create detailed testing strategies, test plans, and test cases.

• Record defects and offer thoughtful workarounds for customer issues.

• Suggest process enhancement ideas along with implementation strategies and actionable plans.

• Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases.

• Utilize test automation tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.

• Conduct end-to-end functional testing through both manual and automated execution.

• Analyze production defects and advocate for customer requirements.

• Review product documentation for precision and clarity, and educate others on product features and testing methodologies.

• Develop tests that mirror real-world customer use and feedback.

• Work in collaboration with User Experience teams on usability testing.

• Assist in the creation, evaluation, and approval of requirements and design documentation.

• Provide insights on marketing requirements documents.

• Engage in inspection and review processes for non-code deliverables.

• Prepare comprehensive work plans outlining objectives, designs, and outcomes.

• Assess and prioritize various approaches to achieve objectives efficiently and effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through a combination of education and related work experience.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience in developing testing strategies, test plans, and test cases.

• Knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Strong understanding of product knowledge and test design principles.

• Capability to document defects in a clear and thorough manner.

• Ability to investigate production defects and champion customer needs.

• Skill in reviewing product documentation and requirements/design documentation.

• Proficiency in creating detailed work plans for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Competence in evaluating and prioritizing different approaches to meet objectives.
