Senior QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and implement manual test cases in Zephyr utilizing Gherkin syntax

• Evaluate new features, game flows, and integrations for both frontend and backend systems

• Execute cross-browser testing on desktop and mobile platforms, encompassing physical devices and BrowserStack

• Carry out sanity and smoke tests across QA, UAT, and Production environments

• Produce clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports in Jira

• Include screenshots, videos, logs, and Figma design links with issues

• Monitor stagnating tickets and link related issues for better traceability

• Analyze frontend issues using Chrome DevTools, Redux DevTools, console, network tab, and WebSocket monitoring

• Test backend APIs and WebSockets via Swagger and Postman

• Validate PostgreSQL data using DBeaver

• Review logs in Kibana and track Kafka topics through RedPanda

• Contribute to the Playwright automation framework for E2E and API testing

• Work collaboratively with the QA Lead and developers to improve test automation coverage

• Engage in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

• Assist team members through pairing, test case evaluations, and sharing testing strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing, particularly with web-based applications

• In-depth knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect documentation

• Experience in testing REST APIs using Postman or Swagger

• Familiarity with browser debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools and Redux DevTools

• Exposure to Kafka, WebSockets, or real-time messaging within a testing context

• Basic SQL skills for database validation purposes

• Strong grasp of Agile development methodologies and sprint-oriented testing

• Clear and organized Jira documentation for bug reporting and follow-ups

• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for test automation

• Understanding of performance testing tools like Lighthouse and Artillery

• Proficiency in English is required
