Senior QA Software Engineer, Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assess architecture design and specifications for new product functionalities.

• Create, develop, and implement tests for new features as part of software general availability and update releases.

• Document bugs identified during execution and support reproduction and debugging efforts to determine root causes.

• Validate bug resolutions provided by the R&D team and escalate issues if the fixes are insufficient.

• Conduct regression, performance, functional, and security system tests for Ethernet protocols.

• Develop automation tests and framework APIs using Python.

• Evaluate and qualify NVIDIA Ethernet Switch solutions as part of the System Ethernet QA Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in QA or Networking.

• Demonstrated networking expertise with hands-on experience in switching and routing.

• Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP/EVPN and VXLAN/OSPF.

• Familiarity with multicast features including PIM and IGMP.

• Knowledge of QoS features such as PFC, ECN, RoCE, and others.

• Automation and scripting abilities, particularly in Python and Linux Bash.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and execute responsibly.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• CCNP, CCIE certification, or equivalent credentials.

• Experience in Python automation and version control tools like Git or SVN.

• Solid understanding of Linux and Linux kernel; LPIC-2 Linux administration level preferred.

• Familiarity with computing and virtualization environments such as Linux KVM, VMware, and ESXi.
