Senior QA Engineer, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop test automation scripts for both back-end and front-end components, adhering to best practices and quality standards.

• Create tools, frameworks, and infrastructure essential for supporting test automation.

• Review and validate application requirements and technical specifications to establish test specifications for functional, integration, and performance testing.

• Spot opportunities to enhance automation in test case activities.

• Collaborate within a cross-functional scrum team (POD), building applications and services using agile methodologies.

• Offer technical support and guidance to fellow team members on test automation.

• Work together with the development team to resolve bugs and promptly address production defects.

• Keep abreast of new testing tools and strategies, actively assessing and refining testing methodologies for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are an exceptional QA automation engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in test automation and familiarity with our test automation stack.

• You possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.

• You have a solid understanding of software development and test automation principles, including BDD and TDD.

• You have experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery settings.

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor other engineers.

• Experience in software development within a regulated environment is a plus.
