Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain automated testing suites to enhance regression coverage and minimize manual tasks.

• Create and implement performance and load tests to verify system dependability and scalability.

• Integrate quality checkpoints into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee consistent and reliable releases.

• Utilize AI-driven quality engineering methods to expedite test development and enhance coverage.

• Guide and mentor the team on QA best practices, standards, and tools.

• Work closely with developers and delivery leads to enhance delivery predictability and mitigate operational risks.

• Promote improved delivery predictability, reduced operational risks, and increased engineering efficiency through enhanced automation, trustworthy performance validation, and integrated quality practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in test automation.

• Proficient in performance testing.

• Experience in designing and scaling automated testing frameworks.

• Strong practical knowledge of Robot Framework automation.

• Familiarity with JMeter for performance and load testing.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, boards, and test management.

• Proven ability to embed automated quality gates within CI/CD delivery pipelines.

• Experience with AI-assisted quality engineering technologies, such as GitHub Copilot.

• Demonstrated capability to coach teams on QA best practices.

• Experience in regulated, public-sector, or enterprise delivery environments (preferred).

• Understanding of shift-left testing and quality engineering culture (preferred).

• Exposure to API and integration testing (preferred).
