Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure the highest standards of product quality by developing and implementing testing strategies for new features, user workflows, and system integrations.

• Design, utilize, and enhance AI agents throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with the QA community to foster teamwork across departments.

• Prioritize, organize, and carry out testing activities for the team.

• Partner with software developers and the product owner to uphold software quality.

• Expand and maintain the automation testing suite.

• Automate regression tests and recurring test executions.

• Work with the team to create services that monitor, manage, and optimize IoT-based smart heating systems in both residential and commercial settings.

• Advance the testing infrastructure to ensure it is efficient for routine use.

• Recognize edge cases and scenarios that developers might overlook.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer (m/f/d).

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and AI-centric development processes.

• Comprehensive background in exploratory testing.

• Experience in testing systems that integrate with other systems.

• Proficient in writing end-to-end tests using Playwright or similar tools.

• Strong command of the English language.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent educational background.

• Practical coding experience in Java/Kotlin and TypeScript.

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Eagerness to learn and a curious nature.

• Experience with AWS is a bonus.

• Proficiency in German is highly advantageous.
