Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality and dependability of the company's software products.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish clear acceptance criteria.

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies.

• Construct robust automated testing frameworks for contemporary web applications and backend services.

• Analyze product specifications to formulate thorough and testable acceptance criteria.

• Work alongside product managers and developers to clarify requirements and identify potential edge cases.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and regression tests.

• Conduct manual testing for complex or new features prior to achieving full automation coverage.

• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance test coverage, reliability, and performance.

• Integrate automated tests within the CI/CD deployment pipeline.

• Generate detailed bug reports, offer constructive feedback, and maintain testing documentation.

• Design and implement AI-assisted testing workflows for test case generation, test data synthesis, and log analysis.

• Assess and incorporate LLM-based testing and coding tools into the QA workflow.

• Report directly to the Tech Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior QA Engineer or in a similar position, with over 5 years of experience in testing modern web applications and backend services.

• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or comparable tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of backend services and APIs, including REST and GraphQL.

• Ability to read and understand frontend and backend code for debugging and test creation.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.

• Practical experience with AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar technologies.

• Proven capability to build, deploy, or thoroughly validate agent-assisted testing systems in a near-production environment.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Candidates must reside in South, North, or Central America; applications from other regions will not be reviewed.
