Senior QA Automation, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Engage thoroughly in every phase of the product lifecycle, starting from the initial concept to deployment.

• Create and uphold test plans, test cases, and documentation for applications.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects using a bug tracking system.

• Conduct testing on backend services and analyze the results.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to grasp project requirements.

• Develop automated API tests.

• Partner with TechOps and other teams to establish quality management processes and enhance testing practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of total engineering experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to test automation, mainly focused on backend testing.

• Expertise in Python and Pytest for crafting automated test scripts.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.

• Ability to analyze logs from backend services.

• Proficient in Linux and associated tools.

• Strong knowledge of Bash scripting.

• Basic proficiency in SQL.

• Experience with Kafka and Kibana, or a willingness to learn them swiftly.

• Background in testing RESTful and gRPC APIs.

• Good comprehension of client-server and/or microservice architecture.

• Acquainted with the fundamentals of Machine Learning.
