Senior QA Automation, Javascript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the quality assurance processes for the development team, taking responsibility for the quality workflow from start to finish.

• Manage the release process by monitoring and communicating outstanding items, facilitating release meetings, granting deployment approvals, and confirming releases through post-release sanity checks.

• Provide insight to technical and quality leaders regarding release status, automation coverage, challenges faced, and suggestions for improvement.

• Actively engage in an agile environment by gathering information from product owners, business analysts, and developers, and documenting the findings.

• Develop and automate test cases for both frontend and backend systems.

• Identify gaps in automation and create strategies to achieve the desired coverage when projects have automation debt.

• Offer feedback on features and log any bugs encountered.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Testing.

• More than 3 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Familiarity with the setup and utilization of CI/CD pipelines; experience with CircleCI is preferred.

• Practical frontend automation experience using Javascript with Webdriver IO.

• Practical experience in backend automation.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming principles.

• Proficient in working with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Knowledge of Google BigQuery and Cloud Storage is an advantage.

• A strong sense of ownership and leadership capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of maintaining composure and delivering results under pressure, managing competing priorities while ensuring quality is not compromised.
