Senior QA Automation Engineer – Boosters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and develop automation frameworks for both functional and performance testing.

• Assess product and technical specifications while identifying potential quality risks.

• Create risk-based testing strategies for new features and modifications.

• Organize and prioritize testing tasks in collaboration with the development team.

• Develop and sustain automated tests for APIs, user interfaces, functionality, and load testing.

• Generate positive, negative, boundary, and failure testing scenarios.

• Support and refine existing automated testing suites.

• Collaborate closely with developers to gain insights into implementation, address issues, and enhance testability.

• Examine test outcomes, probe failures, and assist in identifying root causes.

• Maintain pertinent testing documentation and strive to enhance QA practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in test automation for back-end and/or front-end systems.

• Proficient in test automation utilizing Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or other programming languages, along with relevant automation frameworks and libraries.

• Experience in API and UI test automation utilizing Selenium, Playwright, pytest, REST Assured, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing strategies.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, both manually and from a testing perspective.

• Experience with data storage solutions such as ClickHouse, MySQL, DynamoDB, or similar technologies.

• Practical experience with load and performance testing using tools like k6, JMeter, Locust, or similar.

• Solid understanding of SQL and scripting languages.

• Good grasp of HTTP(S), XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Familiarity with Python and its testing ecosystem, including pytest, Playwright/Selenium, requests, SQLAlchemy, or similar tools would be advantageous.

• Experience in designing or developing test automation frameworks for functional and performance testing would be advantageous.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or similar would be advantageous.

• Prior experience in the iGaming industry would be advantageous.

• Candidates must reside outside of the US, Canada, or Australia.
