Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, uphold, and implement automation scripts for web applications and APIs.

• Establish test plans and create scenarios utilizing BDD with Gherkin syntax.

• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to guarantee quality with each deployment.

• Identify, document, and monitor the resolution of defects through Jira or Kanbanize.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and refinement sessions.

• Collaborate with developers and Product Owners to establish acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript.

• Experience with popular test automation tools.

• Strong understanding of Postman, Pactum, or Swagger for validating backend services.

• SQL querying skills for data validation and ensuring information integrity.

• Proficient in using Git and GitFlow.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Appium and mobile test automation using a Device Farm.

• Nice to have: prior experience with banking systems or payment methods.

• Nice to have: understanding of Security by Design principles and vulnerability analysis tools.
