Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with development and business teams to gather requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Design, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks and test suites.

• Identify and prioritize scenarios that are ideal for automation.

• Create automated tests for web applications, APIs, and integrations.

• Ensure seamless integration of tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform failure analysis, log defects, and monitor their resolution with the relevant teams.

• Keep test documentation, evidence, results, and quality metrics current.

• Contribute to the establishment and advocacy of QA and test automation best practices.

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing software quality.

• Assess new tools, technologies, and methodologies to boost testing process efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in software test automation.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright.

• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or C#.

• Experience with version control using Git.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.

• Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing automated tests.

• Strong analytical skills to investigate defects and resolve issues.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Experience in agile environments.

• Nice to have: knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, TDF, or SAP BTP; experience with Cucumber; experience with Appium; experience with performance testing and related tools; knowledge of DevOps practices; experience testing APIs and microservices.
