This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define software quality benchmarks, testing architecture standards, and strategies for defect prevention across various delivery streams.
• Design, construct, and sustain scalable automated UI and API test suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript across multiple product categories.
• Create and implement automated data generation tools and synthetic applicant profile generators using Python and REST APIs.
• Draft and evaluate technical specifications, testing strategies, and quality risk assessments for feature projects.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that support quality checks and feature-driven promotion practices.
• Act as a technical liaison for client leads and external vendor teams.
• Promote self-service for developers, efficient release gatekeeping, and collaborative troubleshooting.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure updates utilizing Terraform.
• Integrate automated security scanning.
• Navigate continuous compliance processes within a FedRAMP/Public Trust environment.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing full-stack applications and tools using TypeScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience in designing intricate systems that interact with external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Background in working with cross-functional agile teams.
• Proficient in estimating complex engineering tasks.
• Experience in conveying technical updates directly to client stakeholders.
• Strong diagnostic abilities for complex, distributed multi-vendor application failures and microservices.
• Previous experience on federal government digital service projects or civic tech initiatives.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud environments.
• Understanding of FedRAMP compliance standards.
• Knowledge of observability tools.
• Experience in implementing synthetic test data generators or intricate mock data services.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Capability to meet other government contract requirements for which candidates are being hired.
• Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• May be required to undergo a government background check or security clearance.
