Senior QA Automation Engineer, ASIC Simulation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assess architectural designs and requirements for new product functionalities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of functional, performance, and security testing for software general availability and updates

• Create Python automation frameworks adhering to clean object-oriented programming principles

• Examine defects and confirm resolutions through root-cause analysis

• Utilize the SimX platform for code validation and ASIC debugging prior to hardware delivery

• Work closely with R&D to ensure feature quality from the design phase to deployment

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical QA or networking experience

• CCNP-level knowledge of protocols: L2 (VLAN, STP), L3 (BGP, OSPF), EVPN, VXLAN, PFC, ECN, RoCE, and QoS

• Proficient in production-quality Python programming

• Strong object-oriented design skills and practical experience with Pytest

• Advanced Linux expertise at an LPIC-1 or LPIC-2 level

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with Docker and traffic generation tools (Ixia, TRex, Scapy)

• Practical experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

• Basic understanding of virtualization platforms (KVM, VMware)
