Senior QA Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks.

• Provide technical guidance on automation architecture, framework design, coding standards, and best practices.

• Develop and sustain functional, integration, API, and regression automation.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives.

• Assess and improve existing frameworks for reliability, maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Create SQL queries and perform database validation for automated testing and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, architects, and QA teams.

• Mentor automation engineers through code reviews, coaching sessions, and knowledge transfer.

• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical design discussions.

• Research and suggest improvements for automation tools and frameworks.

• Document automation processes, procedures, architecture, and maintenance tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for enterprise applications.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium or similar technologies.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, or significantly enhancing automation frameworks utilizing object-oriented design and reusable architecture.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins.

• More than 5 years of experience writing SQL queries and conducting database validation for automated testing.

• Familiarity with IBM ETM, IBM Quality Manager (QM), IBM CLM, or other comparable test management tools.

• Experience in automating web applications, REST APIs, and database testing.

• Background in performance testing.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum DevOps environments.

• Knowledge of supporting healthcare, human services, government, or regulated enterprise environments.
