Senior QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Propel quality engineering initiatives within a cutting-edge Workforce Management and Customer Experience platform.

• Take ownership of test automation throughout the complete test pyramid, which includes unit, component, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing.

• Create, develop, and sustain automated test frameworks utilizing Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, along with contemporary test automation methodologies.

• Construct and execute automated test suites for unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, and regression testing.

• Manage component and integration testing for microservices, ensuring service behavior, data flows, and API contracts are validated across service boundaries.

• Design and implement performance and load tests to assess scalability, throughput, and response times during peak contact-center activity.

• Develop and automate test scenarios for Workforce Management forecasting, schedule creation, scheduling rules, and constraints.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.

• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and promote quality enhancements throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Set quality engineering standards, reusable automation resources, and testing strategies across various product streams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Demonstrated experience in designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, or REST Assured.

• Strong practical experience with Playwright and/or Cypress using TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Knowledge of contract testing methodologies, such as Pact or Spring Cloud Contract.

• Proficient with performance and load testing tools and methodologies, including JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

• Experience in testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Background in testing WFM forecasting and scheduling engines or other complex rule-based business systems.

• Proven experience in integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Familiarity with Contact Center, CX, CCaaS, Routing, or Voice platforms is a plus.

• Understanding of telephony, IVR, call flows, agent routing, and customer interaction systems is advantageous.
