Senior QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation of quality engineering practices within an innovative Workforce Management and Customer Experience platform.

• Take ownership of test automation across all levels of the testing pyramid, including unit, component, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing.

• Design, develop, and sustain automated test frameworks utilizing Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, along with contemporary test automation methodologies.

• Construct and execute automated test suites for unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, and regression testing.

• Oversee component and integration testing of microservices, ensuring the validation of service behavior, data flows, and API contracts.

• Create and implement performance and load tests to assess scalability, throughput, and response times during peak contact-center activity.

• Develop and automate testing scenarios specifically for Workforce Management forecasting, schedule creation, scheduling rules, and constraints.

• Seamlessly integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and domain experts to establish acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.

• Investigate defects, determine root causes, and promote quality enhancements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Set forth quality engineering standards, reusable automation assets, and testing strategies across various product lines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Proven experience in designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, or REST Assured.

• Strong practical knowledge of Playwright and/or Cypress with TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Experience with contract testing tools like Pact or Spring Cloud Contract.

• Background in performance and load testing tools and methodologies, such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

• Experience in testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Knowledge in testing Workforce Management forecasting and scheduling engines or other intricate rule-based business systems.

• Experience with integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Experience with Contact Center, CX, CCaaS, Routing, or Voice platforms is a plus.

• A basic understanding of telephony, IVR, call flows, agent routing, and customer interaction systems is also advantageous.
