Senior QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation of quality engineering methodologies across a cutting-edge Workforce Management and Customer Experience platform.

• Take ownership of test automation throughout the entire testing pyramid, which includes unit, component, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing.

• Design, develop, and sustain automated testing frameworks utilizing Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, and contemporary test automation methodologies.

• Construct and execute automated test suites for unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, and regression testing.

• Manage component and integration testing of microservices, confirming service functionality, data flows, and API contracts both in isolation and across service boundaries.

• Design and conduct performance and load tests to assess scalability, throughput, and response times during peak contact-center operations.

• Create and automate testing scenarios for Workforce Management forecasting, schedule generation, and the rules and constraints associated with scheduling.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and domain experts to establish acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.

• Investigate defects, determine root causes, and advocate for quality enhancements throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Set forth quality engineering standards, reusable automation resources, and test strategies across various product lines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Proven experience in designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, and REST Assured.

• Strong practical knowledge of Playwright and/or Cypress using TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Experience with contract testing frameworks such as Pact or Spring Cloud Contract.

• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools and methodologies, including JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

• Experience in testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Background in testing Workforce Management forecasting and scheduling engines, or other complex rule-based business systems.

• Proven experience in incorporating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with Contact Center, CX, CCaaS, Routing, or Voice platforms is a plus.

• Understanding of telephony, IVR, call flows, agent routing, and customer interaction systems is advantageous.
