Senior QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks utilizing Playwright and Selenium.

• Create and execute automated test suites for both UI and API.

• Develop automation scripts using TypeScript programming language.

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing procedures.

• Formulate test plans and strategies for both new and existing features.

• Carry out API testing using tools such as Postman, as well as REST APIs and GraphQL.

• Collaborate with development teams to identify, replicate, and resolve defects effectively.

• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Utilize Azure DevOps or Jira to monitor testing activities and defects.

• Engage in code reviews while continuously enhancing automation practices.

• Contribute to quality enhancements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Playwright (mandatory) and Selenium.

• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Strong background in UI and API automation.

• Proficient programming skills in TypeScript.

• Practical experience with Postman and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Experience in functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.

• Awareness of BDD and/or TDD methodologies.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Experience with GraphQL (preferred).

• Experience with C#/.NET applications (preferred).

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing (preferred).

• Familiarity with Docker (preferred).

• Experience with Azure or AWS (preferred).

• Performance testing experience using JMeter or similar tools (preferred).

• Familiarity with Cypress, TestCafe, Puppeteer, or WebdriverIO (preferred).

• Experience with Packflow (preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
