This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist customer initiatives by engaging in application development, rapid prototyping, standards formulation, and the exploration and development of innovative technologies.

• Transform existing SAS code into comprehensible human requirements, enhance and fine-tune these requirements, and establish a new processing system.

• Deploy new processing functionalities on AWS Cloud utilizing native cloud features alongside current AI capabilities.

• Gain insight into the methods employed to manage Trade and Worker Demographics statistical data as currently executed by the U.S. government.

• Update two significant, primarily on-premises SAS-script processing systems using cloud-enabled technologies, with Python as the primary programming language.

• Contribute to a modernization team dedicated to transitioning legacy SAS applications into contemporary applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the capability to secure a Public Trust clearance.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Python (5+ years).

• Experience in AWS Cloud Development (4+ years).

• Background in System Engineering (4+ years).

• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or higher is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAS is advantageous but not essential.

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

• Completion of a comprehensive background check, including Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Employment Verification, and Credit History, is required.

• Fingerprinting is necessary for the Public Trust background investigation.
