Senior Python Engineer, Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of backend features and enhancements from the design phase through implementation, deployment, and ongoing production support.

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, high-performance backend services utilizing Python and Django.

• Create and maintain integrations with KYC, geolocation, payment, and various third-party systems.

• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to define and execute new integrations.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across integration workflows.

• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and enhance test coverage.

• Address production issues and take part in on-call duty rotations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of development experience.

• Proficiency in Python as the primary programming language.

• Extensive experience in API and system integrations.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating third-party APIs.

• Profound knowledge of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and handling failures.

• Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting production integrations.

• Strong foundational knowledge in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.

• Experience in designing architectures for highly loaded and scalable solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production monitoring.

• Willingness to engage in on-call duty rotations.
