On-call Strategy Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of consulting products to agricultural retailer member owners.

• Facilitate client engagements centered on asset investments, mergers and acquisitions, business optimization, and insights projects.

• Present findings to management teams, boards of directors, and various stakeholders.

• Offer expert knowledge and context for consulting recommendations utilizing agricultural industry and functional expertise.

• Provide strategic coaching on agricultural industry matters, operational efficiency, M&A, and market availability/growth to senior leadership teams.

• Direct the creation and updates of materials for agricultural retailer/member customer projects.

• Deliver expert-level guidance on standard consulting materials.

• Offer project direction to the consulting team as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, majoring in accounting, finance, management, entrepreneurship, supply chain, or marketing, or equivalent education and relevant experience.

• Over 10 years of executive leadership experience within an agricultural cooperative.

• More than 15 years of experience in grain, feed, and agronomy sectors.

• Proven experience managing operations across multiple locations.

• Familiarity with commodity risk management, procurement, sales and marketing, asset management and construction, logistics, and P&L responsibility.

• Excellent skills in client management.

• Ability to translate strategic thinking into implications and programs for clients.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and deliver results in a timely manner.

• Strong work ethic coupled with high integrity.

• Outstanding listening, speaking/presenting, and written communication abilities.

• Collaborative skills across client organizations and internal teams.

• Problem-solving capabilities utilizing insight analysis to develop hypotheses and recommendations.

• Demonstrated ownership of projects, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
