This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Develop a private cloud solution for a governmental organization located in a Western European nation
• Transition workloads into the newly established environment
• Offer long-term maintenance and production support for the platform
• Design, create, test, and launch new backend applications
• Evaluate and enhance existing backend infrastructure applications
• Collaborate with architects, functional designers, and other experts on system and application design
• Contribute to scope estimation, provide technical input for pre-sales documentation, and suggest improvements for the client
• Move towards owning technical decisions, directing solution strategy, mentoring engineers, and engaging in future planning
• At least 5 years of professional experience with Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the software delivery lifecycle (GitLab)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Robot Framework, Pytest)
• Knowledge of containerization
• Proficiency in Linux system administration
• Understanding of infrastructure components: firewalls, reverse proxies, forward proxies, and networking (IPv4, IPv6)
• Consulting mindset: ability to recognize business objectives before selecting solutions, challenge clients with well-supported arguments, and work within undefined scopes
• Skill in establishing and maintaining client relationships
• Experience with Kubernetes (Helm, Kustomize, GitOps) is a preferred qualification
• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform is a preferred qualification
• Knowledge of OpenStack is a preferred qualification
• Experience in developing highly automated public cloud solutions is a preferred qualification
• Experience working within a dedicated team or time-and-materials model with an international client is a preferred qualification
• Previous experience in managerial roles such as Tech Leader, Team Leader, or Coordinator is a preferred qualification
• Experience as a Pre-sales Engineer or in a role involving pre-sales exposure is a preferred qualification
