This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee and secure the on-premises data center infrastructure alongside public cloud environments.
• Take responsibility for OS patching, certificate lifecycle management, and vulnerability remediation across the entire estate.
• Develop and sustain configuration management and automation to ensure consistent, repeatable infrastructure modifications.
• Provide support for containerized workloads.
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Manage secure file transfer services for the exchange of partner and customer data.
• Configure and troubleshoot load balancing while monitoring the virtualized infrastructure.
• Oversee developer environments and artifact repositories.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as a first responder for production incidents.
• Offer hands-on support at the Dublin data center, including travel as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining the platforms and infrastructure that support SIM and eSIM services used globally.
• Practical experience with virtualization and on-premises server infrastructure (VMware ESXi or a similar platform).
• Strong and proven expertise in Linux.
• Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent).
• Proficient in logging and monitoring stacks (ELK or similar systems).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of security concepts, including vulnerability management and the certificate/PKI lifecycle.
• Experience with git and artifact repositories (Nexus or similar tools).
• Willingness to travel to the Dublin data center as required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Openness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Experience managing public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) at scale.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar languages).
• Exposure to cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Experience in a regulated or security-sensitive industry (telecoms, SIM/eSIM, or similar).
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar change and incident management processes.
