Senior Python Developer, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop a private cloud solution tailored for a government agency in a Western European nation.

• Assist with the migration and ongoing maintenance of the solution.

• Design, create, test, and implement new backend applications.

• Evaluate and enhance existing backend infrastructure applications.

• Collaborate with architects, functional designers, and other specialists on system and application design.

• Transition workloads into the new environment.

• Provide production support for the platform.

• Engage in planning, scope estimation, pre-sales technical documentation, and proposals for client-requested improvements.

• Advance towards taking ownership of technical decisions, shaping the solution direction, mentoring engineers, and engaging in future-planning discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Python.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the software delivery lifecycle, including GitLab.

• Proficient in Robot Framework and Pytest.

• Experience working with containers.

• Strong background in Linux system administration.

• Knowledge of infrastructure, including firewalls, reverse proxies, forward proxies, and IPv4/IPv6 networking.

• A consulting mindset: able to comprehend business objectives before recommending solutions, challenge clients with well-founded arguments, and work autonomously with ambiguous scopes.

• Capability to foster and maintain client relationships and trust during daily operations.
