Senior Proposal Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform structured quality assessments to ensure compliance, consistency, and responsiveness to RFP requirements.

• Verify that content adheres to Aetna's style, bid guidelines, templates, and brand voice.

• Collaborate with proposal writers and Quality team members to offer edits and constructive feedback.

• Utilize SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PerfectIt, and AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and consistency.

• Adhere to proposal processes, timelines, and quality standards to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

• Develop a strong understanding of Aetna Medicaid products, proposal frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and coaching opportunities.

• Assist in the enhancement of internal processes and procedures, including scorecards, quality business reports, style guides, and performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over five years of experience in a quality reviewer/editor role.

• Experience in Medicaid or government healthcare sectors.

• At least two years of proposal writing experience.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Associated Press and internal style guidelines.

• Capacity to understand the overarching goals and linkages between proposal sections and content development.

• Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Copilot, Asana, Domo, proposal management software, and other AI technologies/tools.

• Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 15–30% of the time.

• Knowledge of APMP and Shipley best practices.

• Six Sigma certification and APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification are preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

• Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during proposal review periods.
